Halloween cam shows: costume and horror cosplay cams on Stripchat

In short
- Stripchat runs a dedicated Halloween category. Models must be approved with a sample video in a real Halloween costume before they’re listed.
- Shows in the category have to be Halloween-themed in the show itself, the topic and the tip menu.
- Outside Halloween, horror and costume shows turn up through custom tags and Stripchat’s cosplay and goth pages.
Halloween is the one night a year when cam rooms go full costume: witches, vampires, zombies, fake blood and candle-lit sets. Stripchat runs a dedicated Halloween category with rules, so you aren’t just getting a model with a plastic pumpkin in the corner. Here’s how it works, from Stripchat’s own help centre on Oct 30, 2026, and how to find horror cosplay shows after the 31st.
How Stripchat’s Halloween category works
Stripchat’s Halloween category article sets out the rules models follow:
- Models apply, then get approved. A model picks Halloween under Stream Specifics and uploads a sample video of at least 30 seconds, with sound, performing the show they plan to run. Stripchat’s team checks it and confirms by private message.
- The costume has to be real. Stripchat says the outfit should be a “100% match”, and that “pumpkin heads on the background alone will not be enough to make it through our moderation.” It expects Halloween-themed costumes and props.
- The show has to match. When an approved model goes live in the category, Halloween must show up in the tip menu activities and the topic, with themed items like pumpkins, ghosts and witchy props in the show.
- Where you find it. Stripchat shows the category on its main page under “specials” while the event runs, next to the models’ usual categories.
- Dates. Stripchat says the event dates are announced each year in its Model News, so the category may be empty outside the Halloween period.
What you’ll actually see in a Halloween show
Based on the ideas Stripchat gives models in the same article, expect:
- Full costumes and makeup: face paint, fake blood and scary or playful characters.
- Themed sets: pumpkins, spider webs, skulls, black candles and “bleeding” candles made by dripping red wax.
- Halloween tip menus: since the category requires themed tip menu items, the room’s menu tells you what’s on offer before you spend anything.
Read the tip menu and topic first. Tips and private shows are paid in tokens. Prices for both are in our Stripchat prices guide.
Horror and costume cams the rest of the year
The Halloween category only runs for the event, but costume and horror shows don’t stop on Nov 1. Two things help you find them:
- Custom tags. Models can add up to 7 custom tags to each stream, up to 25 characters each, letters, numbers and spaces only. Tags describe a show’s vibe or theme so viewers can find it, and they can be in any language (Custom Tags). Look for tags like cosplay, goth or costume on room cards.
- Niche categories. Our horror, goth and kink cam guide covers the goth, cosplay, latex and role-play pages that carry these shows all year.
Our community’s own models post go-live alerts in the WRVTHFUL Discord, and you can check who’s live now without opening Stripchat.
Watching privately
Watching is free, but if you tip, your nickname shows unless you use Ultimate’s anonymous tip switch (How to tip anonymously?). Charges appear under a payment provider’s name, not “Stripchat” (statement names). The full rundown is in Is Stripchat safe?.
